Security has been beefed up in the Nepalese capital in the wake of a series of bomb blasts which rocked the city in last two days.Security has been tightened in sensitive areas and police patrol has been increased, Nepal's Home Ministry officials said.
A minor bomb exploded today in front of the country's oldest school, Durbar High School, at Jamal in Kathmandu.
However, nobody was injured in the incident that took place at 7.20 a.m. (local time), police said.
The bomb was placed under a tree and since it was early morning nobody was there at the time of explosion.
Nobody has claimed the responsibility for the blast.
On Saturday, a woman was injured in a bomb blast at the sales counter of Buddha Airways near the main entrance of the Tribhuwan International Airport.
Ranabir Sena, a Hindu armed group of Terai owned up the responsibility of the blast.
